Georgetown
A team is lucky when it can consider a 23-11 (10-8 in the Big East) season a "down year," but that is exactly what Georgetown has. The Hoyas return four starters, including seniors Chris Wright (15 points, 4 assists per game), Austin Freeman (17 points, 4 rebounds per game) and Julian Vaughn (7 points, 4 rebounds per game) and junior Jason Clark (11 points, 4 rebounds per game).
This is a very good back court, and a slightly less proven front court due to the fact that star big man Greg Monroe left for the NBA. Georgetown may be left asking, "What if Monroe had stayed?" at the end of this season, with several upper classmen returning. This is an improved team from last year, but probably does not have enough star power to make a deep run.
