Memphis Tigers Betting Prediction
Bet on the Memphis Tigers this season at our number 1 rated sportsbook TotalBets.com
Under first year head coach Josh Pastner, the Tigers finished 24-10 (13-3 Conference USA). Like his mentor John Calipari, Pastner must replace three starters, but he has recruited one of the country's best classes. That includes a back court of incoming freshmen Joe Jackson at point guard (29 points, 6 rebounds, 4 assists per game) and shooting guard Will Barton (21 points per game).
Junior small forward Wesley Witherspoon is one of the team's veterans, and returns averaging 13 points and 5 rebounds per game last season. This is not the same Memphis team we are used to seeing, and may not be the best team in the conference.
But even Pastner admits the team is young and he is hoping to build a nice core of talent around Jackson and Barton. If those two stick around, this could be a top five team in two years. For now, it may just be a one and done team.

As I have written numerous times in the past, line shopping is one of the most important parts of sports betting, and one of the biggest advantages to betting sports online in general. It is critical in the long term to have money in several different books, simply because all books offer different lines regularly. Even if the line is the same at two books, one may offer a reduced line because money is coming in differently at both sites.
