Orange
An original member of the Big East, Syracuse has long been a national power, particularly since 1976, when the Orange promoted assistant coach Jim Boeheim to the head job. Since then, the Orange have made a postseason tournament – NCAA and NIT combined – every year except 1992, when they faced NCAA sanctions. Boeheim has won 799 games, leading Syracuse to two NCAA Championship games and one National Championship in 2003 behind the play of now NBA star Carmelo Anthony.
