Musketeers
Though Xavier has become more well known for churning out big time head coaches -- including Skip Prosser, Pete Gillen, Sean Miller and Thad Matta -- they also produce some impressive results within the Atlantic 10. The Musketeers have won the A-10 regular season in each of the last three seasons, producing enough interest in Miller to draw him to coach Arizona. Xavier appeared in eight NCAA Tournaments in the last decade, including Elite Eights in 2004 and 2008. Like most mid major teams, the Musketeers have excelled in producing under the radar talent to fit their system, such as star big man David West of the New Orleans Hornets.
