NFL Football Betting
According to a recent Harris Poll, 29 percent of Americans say that American professional football is their favorite sport. Not surprisingly, it is also one of the most popular sports to bet on. Every February, the Super Bowl is the most popular sports betting event of the year.
Real sports bettors looking to make consistent money are more likely to bet throughout the NFL season rather than just placing one large bet on Super Bowl Sunday, though. Those bettors want to use what they see in one week to their advantage in betting on next week’s games.
Like basketball, nfl betting offers many different types of bets for you to wager on: spreads, moneylines, parlays, teasers, and pleasers.
A spread bet is when one team is favored by a certain amount of points. For example, the New England Patriots might be a 10 point favorite over the New York Jets if the game is at New England. You could either bet on New England to cover the bet and win by 11 points or more, or you could bet that New York will cover the bet and lose by 9 points or less.
Even if a team wins most of its games, that is no guarantee that the team will fare well against the spread. The Minnesota Vikings finished 10-6 last season, but people who bet that the Vikings would cover the spread every week – whether as favorites or as underdogs – finished 6-10, meaning they probably won most of their games by close margins. A closer look at their schedule last year reveals that, not surprisingly, the Vikings won six games by a touchdown or less.
On the flip side of that coin, teams may end up with a terrible record but perform well against the spread, meaning they lost several close games. The Kansas City Chiefs are a great example of this. The Chiefs finished a lousy 2-14 last season, but finished 8-8 against the spread. A close look at their schedule shows that the Chiefs lost six games by a touchdown or less.
Some teams perform great against the spread at home and poorly on the road. The New Orleans Saints were 7-1 against the spread at home – blowing opponents out at their home stadium – but just 4-3-1 against the spread on the road. That’s a bona fide home field advantage for bettors.
Moneyline bets are easier in NFL betting, but bettors must be willing to bet much on worse odds to secure a win sometimes. If you think that New England will win, but not by 10 points, you may just want to bet on the moneyline. The flip side to this is simply betting on New York to cover, and staying away from the moneyline altogether. If you think that New England will win but only by a field goal, it would make more sense to bet $11 to win $10 on New York to cover rather than $50 to win $10 on New England to win straight up.
Another NFL betting option is parlay betting. In professional football, you can parlay bet several games together, either on the point spread or the moneyline, or you can parlay two lines in the same game. For instance, if the New England-New York over-under is 44 points, you could bet New England to cover and parlay it with the over. A typical two-team parlay pays 13 to 5, or $5 won for every $13 risked. A three-team parlay pays 6 to 1 and so on and so forth. If you are feeling really daring, a 10-team parlay can pay up to 600 to 1 on your money.
Parlaying moneylines can be a great way to put some value into your NFL betting. If you think you know who will win the outcome of several games, betting them together will pay out significantly more than if you bet them individually. Of course, as is the risk with any parlay, if you win four games but lose one game in a five-team parlay, you still lose your bet, so proceed with caution.
In general, parlays are not very good values, so if you are looking to maximize your advantage, you may want to place single bets. While the true odds of a three-team parlay winning is 12.5%, or 1 in 8.5, the payoff is only 6 to 1, meaning you are giving up some value. It may not seem like a big difference for one bet, but over time that can accumulate.
There is a situation where parlay betting can become profitable, however. Correlated parlays such as the New England example I mentioned earlier, can be a good value. Some sports books do not allow you to place correlated parlays, and for good reason—it’s like eliminating the zeroes on a roulette wheel, it takes away a lot of the house advantage.
If your sportsbook allows correlated parlays, consider taking advantage of them. Statistically speaking, if a favorite covers, the score is more likely to go over the over-under. If New England wins by 14, it is probable that the score will go over the over-under of 44 points from the earlier example. Still, betting on New England plus the over pays the same as betting the spread for two separate games does. You can see why this is an attractive betting option! Similarly, if an underdog covers, the game is likely to go under. So if the Jets lose by only seven points, the total is more likely to be under 44 points.
Other fun ways to place bets include teasers, future bets and propositional bets. Teasers are a minimum of a two-team parlay where you can change the spread a minimum of six points. In football, where six points can be the difference between a win and a loss, teasers can be very attractive, and very profitable if you play them right. Future bets are wagers that you can place that occur in the future, such as who will win the 2010 Super Bowl. Propositional bets can range from if a running back will rush for more than 80 yards in a game to whether the coin flip will result in heads or tails.
One system of teasers that has been extremely profitable over the last few years is the Wong Teaser. With a Wong Teaser, you target underdogs that are between 1.5 and 2.5 points, and favorites that are between 7.5 and 8.5 points. If you take the Cincinnati Bengals at +2.5 and the San Francisco 49ers at -8, you tease them both six points to +8.5 for the Bengals and -2 for the 49ers.
The reasoning behind this is that many games in the NFL are decided by either three or seven points. If you tease based on that strategy, you are manipulating the line across both the three and seven number and getting a lot of value. From 2001 to 2005, two-team Wong Teasers won 71% of the time. If you are risking $10 to win $10 on a two-team teaser and winning 71% of the time, that is a very profitable strategy. Note that this strategy does not apply to college football!
In general, NFL betting can be very exciting and very profitable if you approach it correctly. When in doubt, go against the public – as the vast majority of bettors lose money. It may be scary to bet on an underdog to cover, or a game to go under the over-under, but in the long run it’s a winning strategy. So get out there, do some NFL betting and settle in for an exciting 17 weeks of Sunday NFL football!

For sports fans, Super Bowl Sunday is one of the best days of the year. For bettors, it can be not only entertaining, but profitable as well. This year’s Super Bowl predictably pitted the New Orleans Saints against the Indianapolis Colts. Through 14 weeks of the NFL season, these two teams combined for an unconscious 26-0 record, before both teams clinched home field advantage for the playoffs and rested their starters.
The best 2 teams made the Super Bowl. Two months ago this was the match up that everyone wanted, then people started to talk about San Diego, Dallas, Baltimore or whatever team played one good game. The same people that said that the Colts wouldn’t recover from resting Peyton Manning are the same ones that are saying the Colts can’t lose this week.
The Saints started to play like they did earlier in the year last week, and the Viking defense helped us hit our under bet, as well as side–total parlay bet. The defensive ends got off the ball so fast it seemed like were in the backfield before Tony Romo was. The Saints will find a way to score some points here, the question is, can Brett Favre match Drew Brees stride for stride
Maybe it’s time give the Jets a little credit and start to take them seriously or maybe not. This team is made up of a bunch of no name players, with a rookie quarterback, rookie coach, and one great corner back. It just goes to show you how important coaching is in football.
This is the toughest call of the week. Whenever it looks too good to be true, it normally is. The Cowboys have been playing great as of late, while the Vikings have limped into the playoffs. So why is Dallas a 3 point dog here?
Are you kidding me? How the hell did the Jets go into Cincinnati and win that game last week. We know Palmer was hurt but they had Cedric Benson back, and were at home. We always like a juicy upset but not when we had so much riding
Traditionally on the second weekend of the playoffs, the favorites win easy. In the last few years however this hasn't been always the case, as many wild card teams have gone on the road and won .We tend to look at the bigger picture and still are going to remember what has happened in the last 20 years, as opposed to the last few in making our picks here
We expected Baltimore to have a shot to win that game last week, but to totally dominate the Patriots the way they did, was a surprise. Baltimore looked like a team that is ready to make a serious run at the Super bowl. They run the ball extremely well
Of all the games this weekend, this is the one that is the toughest to figure out. The Ravens have been playing exceptional football as of late, and could go all the way. That being said, the Patriots have been playing terrible football the last few weeks but are still the Patriots
Another rematch, but it isn’t because Arizona really didn’t show up to play last week. In general we like Green Bay but not in this spot. Arizona is the defending NFC Champion, they are playing at home and will find a way to win this game. Aaron Rogers and company will have many days in the sun
No more messing around here. No more worrying about what team is resting their players and who will be eliminated with a loss and all of all that other nonsense. It's time for real football, the NFL playoffs and the pursuit of being a world champion. Traditionally the dogs do very well on wild card weekend, and then the favorites win big a week later.
It seems almost like Vegas and the online sports books planned week 17 to be a set-up for a huge pay day this week. This is the second game in a row that is going to have stupid people looking back at last week’s game and betting the wrong team. The Eagles did need that game last week, but once thing got out of hand, they stopped playing in the second half.
With emotions running high on both sides of the ball, one team (Florida) will benefit greatly. The other will suffer an embarrassing loss on New Year’s Day. Cincinnati is playing without former head coach Brian Kelly, who led the Bearcats to significant success in recent years
We hate to say I told you so, but I told you that the Vikings were overrated all year, and I think after a second embarrassing loss on national TV, I proved my point. Favre is done, was done 4 years ago, and as far as fighting with the coach about coming out of the game, that’s B.S
This is one of this week best bets. Jacksonville proved last week to the nation that they are for real. They could have won that game versus the Colts, but a late interception cost them the game
Both of these teams played games last week that will define their regular season. The Colts showed that they will be the Super bowl favorite come January, and the Jets blew one that might cost them the playoffs
Now we’re talking. The Steelers proved last week that they are alive and well, and won’t give up their title without a fight. Baltimore has been playing the best football in the NFL as of late. Both of these teams need this one badly. Pittsburgh to make the playoffs and Baltimore to have an outside shot at the division
The Bengals still haven’t clinched the division yet and they are starting to feel the Ravens breathing down their necks. Make no mistake about it, either they win this game this week and clinch, or they were a fraud all along. They were not a fraud and
As a Giant fan, my blood pressure finally went down after week 10 on Monday night. The Giants played like the team that won the Super bowl in that game. Eli had his brother’s look in his eye, not the “Opie” look. Brandon Jacobs and Amand Bradshaw refused to go down and the defense stepped up
We are going to use the same philosophy with game 2 of our teaser that we used with game one. Both of these teams come into this game at 7-7 and must have a win here. Again the line is about right, as the home team should win this game by around a field goal, but it’s too close to call
Arizona played like the Lions last week and won, while the Rams played great and lost, but such is life. Good teams find a way to win while bad teams find a way lose. This has been a great week to bet so far as we feel strongly about our picks. This game however scares us
The Eagles have been playing great as of late, and we grade them at the highest we have graded them in years. Donovan finally has some playmakers and they get Brian Westbrook back this week
Boy did the Saints really change the playoff picture with their loss to Dallas last week. Not only did it give life to the Cowboys, it showed that any team still might win the NFC. As a matter of fact these are our most likely teams to go to the Super bowl now. The Eagles, Saints, Giants, Cardinals, Cowboys, Packers and the Vikings in that order to win it all. Not quite the way the seeds are right now
The Browns have started to play surprisingly better the last few weeks. It is hard to believe that they like Eric Mangini enough to try to save his job. There is however a lot of talent on this team, that hasn’t performed up to their potential
Again we have a match up of teams that played very similar games last week. However, the difference is that one of these teams won a close fought boring game, and the other lost. The Giants win on Monday night eliminates Atlanta from the playoffs this year while Buffalo was eliminated when they signed Terrell Owens in the offseason.
The Cowboys played their best game of the year last week in beating New Orleans and look like they are ready for a playoff run.
Be very careful the next 2 weeks in your bets, as some lines might seem a little strange, as teams try to make the playoffs and other teams try to play spoiler. We are going to start this week with our weekly teaser bet, and include a great Christmas Day game in it
We knew the Steelers weren’t that good, but to lose to Cleveland is inexcusable. This is the week that they finally get back on track. Green Bay has played at a very high level for weeks now, and will make the playoffs. The Packers don’t need this game as much as the Steelers do
Very sad night for Giant fans last week. Winning the division is out of the question now, but the playoffs are still a possibility. No matter, this team is not winning the Super bowl. This is the worst Giant defense I have ever seen. We have cornerbacks playing safety
We knew the Cowboys didn’t have enough guns to beat the Chargers last week, but this week is a different story. New Orleans has been just winning by the “skin of their teeth” lately, and will continue to until they finally lose their fear of losing their first game. People are fickle. You know that everybody is going to be betting the Saints here
This is the time of year when you must be very careful, because some teams are resting players, others are hungry, and some are just playing for their jobs. Each game must be analyzed separately, because each team takes a different view on when to rest their players. The coach of the Colts says that all healthy players will play in this game, and since 16-0 is still on the line that is probably true
Arizona showed that they could be back in the Super Bowl by destroying Minnesota last week. San Francisco lost a close one to Seattle. The 49ers went to the Cardinals on opening day and came away with a 20-16 victory, so don’t think for a second that the Cardinals
Buffalo played pretty well last Thursday against the Jets but didn’t have enough talent to win that game while the Chiefs didn’t bother to show up against Denver . This game is a coin flip, but that is why God created teasers, so you have a way to bet on a difficult game
The Patriots showed last week that they really don’t care very much about this season. Did you see some of the really stupid passes that Tom Brady threw last week, maybe marriage doesn’t agree with him? It certainly doesn’t seem to be working for Tiger Woods. Sometimes really great athletes
Both of these teams were the surprise teams of last week. One succeeded in their mission of pulling a major upset and one fell slightly short. Washington had New Orleans beat last week but found a way to screw it up at the end. We still hit on Washington and the points which is all we really care about. Oakland stood tall
The Broncos have been very tough to figure out all year. In the pre season they looked like the worst team in football, then got off to a 6-0 start, then lost 4 straight. 2 weeks ago they destroyed the Giants and last week killed the Chiefs. The Colts did what they always do and that's win
Let me start by saying I am a lifelong Giants fan, but as a professional I try to be objective about my team. I bet heavy on the Giants money line early in the week last week because I knew the Giants would win that game against Dallas. This week is a different story however
The magic number for the Bengals to win their division is now 1 and make us some money. The Bengals would have to lose their final 4 games and either Baltimore or Pittsburgh would have to win their last 4 for them not to win the AFC North which is not likely to happen
We got a good one for you here. San Diego is quietly playing like the best team in football lately while Dallas is doing their usual “folderoo” late in the season. We do have to give them credit for giving the Giants a harder fight than we expected last week in N.Y
If you have been following my column all year you know I always love a juicy dog and we have one here. We bet the Falcons +10 on Monday Night Football against the Saints a few weeks ago when nobody else did, and we won. We are taking Atlanta again here
We told you to take Miami over New England last week and we hope you did. Jacksonville won a big game against Houston and is in the play-off picture. Actually both of these teams want to make the play-offs and this game may decide which team goes or stays home after the season
The Packers looked really good on Monday night in beating the Ravens while the Bears finally won a game against the Rams. We wish we knew what the line is here, but since the Packers played Monday night and I write my column on Tuesday morning there was no line available at the time
Mark Sanchez is a little banged up for the Jets here so at the time of writing this column there was no betting line on the game. No matter, we couldn’t care less who wins this game. The Jets still feel like they can make the playoffs, yea right, and I still have a chance to marry Scarlett Johansen
Seattle was able to win a close one against San Francisco last week while Houston lost a game that they had to win at Jacksonville. We have been waiting for years for Houston to finally get their stuff together and they haven’t yet. All is not lost however as in the wacky AFC
Both of these teams played great games last week but didn’t have enough talent to beat their superior opponents. Steve Spagnolo is trying to build a team in St. Louis but it will take time. Jeff Fischer has all the pieces in place to be a contender next year as it might be a little too late this year. This will be a close game believe it or not, and 13.5 points are too many points
We really felt that Baltimore would play better Monday night at Green Bay last week but too many mistakes and penalties cost them the game. Joe Flacco has to stop thinking he is Joe Namath, start to play within himself as he did last year
Another great week betting, if you’ve been taking our advice all year, you have money in the bank by now. We hit on our weekly teaser last week, and we are going to start off with another one this week. What the hell is wrong with Pittsburgh? The problem is that they are not that good, and never were. Even last year when they went all the way, they never totally dominated people
The Bills offense exploded in the 4th quarter last week to beat Miami and showed that they are going to play hard the rest of the year. The Jets won an ugly 17-6 game last week against Carolina in which we said take the under. This is going to be a better game then people think
Here we go, the type of game we like to bet on. 2 very good teams playing on National T.V and the Patriots are still pissed off about what happened to them at the Colts 2 weeks ago. New Orleans keeps on winning, but except for last week’s game against the Bucs
We scored on Tennessee +5 last week. Everyone was betting Houston when the line went down to 4, but we knew better. Tennessee has won 4 straight after their bye, with Vince Young at quarterback. Sitting his ass down for a year made him grow up. If the Titans keep winning
We were right in saying that Washington would play hard against Dallas last week and this week will no different. The Washington defense has been playing much better, and if the offense can score some points then they might be able
There was no line at the time of the writing of this column because of the uncertain Pittsburgh QB situation. Charlie Batch is gone, and but it looks like “Indestructible Big Ben”, will play even with his head injury. He has proven before how hard his head is
This is another one of those mid season games that nobody cares about. The Rams have been playing better as of late but can’t seem to find a way to win. It’s not going to get any easier this week with Mark Bulger out for 3-6 weeks
The Bills played pretty good last week under their new coach in almost winning in Jacksonville. Ryan Fitzpatrick is a very smart and efficient quarterback. The Dolphins played very well in beating a good Carolina team on the road last week. The Dolphins play hard every week and that is what you look for in team
We knew the Bengals were going to have an off week but losing that game against the raiders is unacceptable. That is not what Champions do. Luckily for them Pittsburgh and Baltimore also lost. Everybody is entitled to make mistakes but, one must learn from their mistakes
The Bears let us down last week. They looked like they were going to win that game against the Eagles, but a late touchdown cost them the game, and probably their season. Jay Cutler looks like a defeated man. He came into town as the saviour
Houston played Indianapolis very tough a few weeks ago and almost beat them 20-17. The reason for that is because they can rush the passer, and that is the recipe to beat Peyton Manning, as Baltimore demonstrated last week. Houston didn’t play that great against Tennessee
Both of these teams are on the down side. Carolina lost at home last week to Miami, and the Jets got pelted by New England. One of these teams will get a win this week but we are not sure of which one that will be. What we are certain about is that both of this offenses have struggled
This is the time of the year that certain teams make a playoff push (San Diego) while others play hard in order to save their jobs(K.C.). Kansas City not only covered last week they beat the Steelers outright in overtime
Atlanta showed a lot of character ,with their late rally against the Giants last week. They really are a pretty good team. Unfortunately they might miss the playoffs now. They can’t catch the Saints, and that loss might hurt them down the road for a wild card spot
Jacksonville is slowly but surely getting back in the play off picture. They come into this game at 6-4 and have as good a chance as anyone to get a wild card birth. The 49ers have been playing better as of late and covered by a half point
Not quite the same allure as the Red River Rivalry between Texas and Oklahoma, but this week’s Bedlam Rivalry game is Oklahoma State’s Super Bowl. The Cowboys have had a tremendous season so far and Oklahoma is sitting at 6-5, ensured of its worst season since 1999
Virginia coach Al Groh has beaten the Cavaliers’ arch rival Hokies just one time in his nine years at UVA. He and the Cavaliers look to make that number two and possibly avoid his firing this Saturday in Charlottesville. The Hokies are in a down year at 8-3 and will not contend for the ACC Championship,
Despite an 11-0 record up to this point, Alabama still realistically needs to win its next two games to get into the National Championship. With Florida a perfect 11-0 as well, the Crimson Tide will need to beat Auburn this week and Florida in the SEC Championship
Boise State doesn’t play too many home games where they are only 14 point favorites, but that is exactly what they are this week when Nevada comes to play on the blue turf. Boise State needs a win this week, and badly. Though the Broncos are 11-0, their only hope for a BCS appearance
Another winning week last week, but not up to our usual excellent ways. We are going to start this week by talking about the 3 annual Thanksgiving Day games and then proceed to our weekly teaser. We wanted to include this game in our teaser, but because of Matt Stafford’s shoulder injury there was no line at the time of the writing of this column
At first glance you might think that it was quite a shocker that Oakland beat Cincinnati last week, but at we said the Bengals were coming off their biggest win in years and might be flat. We also felt that Jamarcus Russell was hindering the Raider offense and the switch to anybody but he was the correct move
Both of these teams started the year out very hot, and then fell on difficult times. One of these teams however is back on track and the other is still in trouble. I think you can figure out which team is which. The Broncos were never that good and used a motivating rookie coach
Everybody thought we were crazy when we bet Cincinnati to win their division before the season, but I quess we weren't so crazy. It was simply a process of elimination. There were only 4 possibilities. It wasn’t going to be Cleveland, Pittsburgh was drinking champagne, and at the time I placed my bet Baltimore’s only good receiver was in retirement
At the time of the writing of the column there was no line on this game due to the uncertain status of Falcon running back Michael Turner. The Giants needed a bye 2 weeks earlier, after the Arizona loss to regroup, but that wasn’t the case. They were wounded against New Orleans
This is an interesting matchup. At first look you might ask how the Ravens are favored in this game, but when you look more closely at it, you will see why. If there is any defense that can possibly stop Peyton Manning, it would be Baltimore. The Colts are coming off of a really big win and might be a little flat. The Ravens were embarrassed
Washington isn’t as bad as most people think, and Dallas isn’t as good as most people would like to believe. Dallas played terrible last week in Green Bay as a 3 point favorite and the Redskins played pretty well against Denver. This is a divisional rivalry
We said last week that New Orleans is having a difficult time lately being the hunted as opposed to the hunter. They will continue to play that way until they finally lose a game. The sports books here say take the home dog and we will. Traditionally in late November there are always a weekend where there are a lot of crazy upsets
OK, everybody has a opinion on whether or not Bill Bellichek did the correct move by going for it on 4th down deep in his own territory, late in the game, at the Colts last week. In retrospect it looked like a crazy decision. We were watching the game with a big Patriots fan
Pittsburgh is in deep trouble right now after dropping their second game this year against Cincinnati. It looks like they are going to wind up as a wild card, unless the Bengals start to self destruct. The Steelers are not going to further hurt their playoff chances
The NFL works in patterns. One pattern is there are surprise teams every year (that would be the Texans). The other is there are teams that get off to a bad start, start playing for next year and start to play well (That would be the Titans). Tennessee has won 3 straight after dropping
Denver is in trouble if they lose Kyle Orton for an extended period of time. Chris Simms has no talent and is only in the NFL because of his father. San Diego is playing much better as of late
San Francisco won an ugly game at home last week vs. Chicago. We won on Green Bay +3 against the Cowboys, and also hit on a halftime bet of Green bay +3. It looks like the Packers have corrected what was wrong with them
The Rams played hard last week against New Orleans, but just didn’t have enough talent to win the game. Arizona DID have enough talent to cover vs. Seattle, but it sure didn’t look they would early in the game. There so many games on board this week, with one team more
We had another great week last week going 11-2 with our picks plus we hit our ten point teaser. We will try to keep up the good work this week, and will start with our weekly teaser bet. Jacksonville covered last week at the Jets and are now at 5-4
O.k. I guess it's time to start telling jokes about how bad these 2 teams are, but we are not going to do it. Let’s look at this game objectively. One of these teams consistently plays embarrassingly bad football, while the other seems to play hard every week
Both of these teams are in big trouble, with Chicago maybe in a little more. Jay Cutler threw 5 interceptions last week. These teams seems to meet every year, and the game always comes down to the wire. This year will be no different.
Miami won but didn’t cover last week versus Tampa Bay while Carolina won as a 2 point dog at home against Atlanta. Our football sense said take Atlanta, but we knew better as our gambling sense said take the home dog
The Ravens are very angry about the way their season been going. They come into this game at 4-4, but they are a much better team then that. The Browns on the other hand really don’t care about how their season is going. They come into this game at 1-7
For the last few years these 2 teams have been locking horns with the winner of this game having a real good shot to go all the way. On occasion one of these teams comes in undefeated. This year it's no different, it’s Indianapolis' turn to be the undefeated team.
The best game of the week. Both teams come into this game with a record of 6-2. The Bengals have a division record of 4-0, whereas the Steelers are 1-1 in the AFC North. The Bengals also have a win over Pittsburgh earlier in the season. The Steelers need this game a little more based on Division
Jacksonville has quietly posted a 4-4 record this year, and could be the best team that nobody is noticing. They have plenty of talent on this team but have consistently underachieved for a few years now. The Jets come off badly needed bye week in which they could try to fix what is wrong
What the hell is going on in Oakland lately.Even for a team with a history of excentric players this is extreme. The whole Tom Cable saga, Jamarcus Russel,Al Davis and the rest of this dysfunctional family is the worst run team in the NFL.
Part 3 of our 3 team teaser bet is a bit of a risk. Any time you bet against a high powered offense such as New Orleans, Colts, or New England you take a chance. New Orleans however is becoming the hunted as opposed to the hunter. It is easier to win when when you play to win as opposed to playing to not lose
The Packers are a better team then they have been showing the last few weeks. The Cowboys played very well in upsetting the Eagles last week. This is going to be a good game, and we are going to take the home dog here. The Cowboys have had a hard time being consistent
The betting line here has gone up from 7.5 to 9 very quickly. Arizona won this game in Seattle a few weeks ago 27-3,and do you really believe this is going to be any different. Arizona has been playing some of the best football in the NFL as of late.
F—king Phillip Rivers. His late touchdown drive vs the Giants last week cost me a 4 team parlay bet. Actually ,the fault lies with N.Y. for not putting it in the end zone from the 4 yard line, after they intercepted that pass with 3 minutes left. You had to know that Rivers would go right down the field, because that what Phillip Rivers does
The Broncos played pretty good for one half against Pittsburgh last week. The Redskins haven't played well since George Bush was President. They got killed by Atlanta last week. It’s put up or shut up time for the Broncos who
Congratulations to Tampa Bay who finally won a game last week vs. Green Bay. The Dolphins have been playing hard every week since their 0-3 start. This is the NFL and the margin of victory is very slight. As you’ve heard me say before it comes down to motivation
The Titans have been playing better after their bye week winning 2 straight against good teams after their ridiculous 0-6 start. They are a better team than that. Buffalo is coming off a bye after getting killed by Houston 2 weeks ago. We truly feel that the Titans have righted the ship
We made money on Carolina +12.5 at New Orleans last week, but were disappointed that Carolina didn’t win the game outright. Late mistakes in the second half cost them the game. Atlanta however rolled over Washington like we said they would.
Another good week, as we went 6-3 on our picks and hit our 3 team teaser bet. We are going to start out the week by picking part one of our 3 team 10 point teaser. Both the Bears and Niners haven’t been playing too well as of late and need a win badly
We went 4-2 on our picks last week, plus we suggested that if you must bet the Jet-Dolphin game, take Miami on the money line, which made us some extra cash. We are going back to the conventional 10 point teaser this week. Arizona played like crap vs Carolina
Ted Ginn kickoff returns for touchdowns helped the Dolphins beat the Jets last week. New England was resting up last week after going to London to play an exhibition game vs. Tampa Bay. The Patriots have righted the ship
Denver came down to earth last week, and was never really in the game at Baltimore. Pittsburgh had a bye last week after beating Minnesota the week before. Denver showed against the Ravens, that although they are a good team
