Despite an 11-0 record up to this point, Alabama still realistically needs to win its next two games to get into the National Championship. With Florida a perfect 11-0 as well, the Crimson Tide will need to beat Auburn this week and Florida in the SEC Championship

Boise State doesn’t play too many home games where they are only 14 point favorites, but that is exactly what they are this week when Nevada comes to play on the blue turf. Boise State needs a win this week, and badly. Though the Broncos are 11-0, their only hope for a BCS appearance

At first glance you might think that it was quite a shocker that Oakland beat Cincinnati last week, but at we said the Bengals were coming off their biggest win in years and might be flat. We also felt that Jamarcus Russell was hindering the Raider offense and the switch to anybody but he was the correct move

The Titans have been playing better after their bye week winning 2 straight against good teams after their ridiculous 0-6 start. They are a better team than that. Buffalo is coming off a bye after getting killed by Houston 2 weeks ago. We truly feel that the Titans have righted the ship

We knew the bye week would help the Titans play better. They couldn’t play any worse than their 59-0 loss to New England. Vince Young played like an NFL Quarterback for one week. San Francisco was winning that game at the Colts last week at one point

Originally this game was going to be part of our 4 team teaser. We changed our minds because we realized that one of these weeks Tennessee might wake up. The Titans have had 2 weeks to start from scratch and try to correct all that is wrong with this team

The Titans have really let us down recently. This team has a lot of talent, but after the losses start to pile up; any team starts to doubt themselves. What happens at times in football is that after a season is basically over a team gives up for a few weeks.

Both of these teams have problems. Miami really can’t play offense at the N.F.L. level. They look like a college or high school team at times, with their “Wildcat” offense and their quarterback who throws the ball like a shot put. Another quarterback, who has a funky delivery is Phillip Rivers

We went 7-2 on our side picks last week, on upset Sunday in the N.F.L, as we said traditionally week 2 is ripe for a good juicy underdog. We will start our pick section with another minor upset here. In our eyes it’s not really an upset at all, but various sports books have the Jets as a favorite

This game scares me, not only as a Giant fan but as a bettor. This is a trap game for the Giants. After 2 huge wins against division rivals, Dallas and Washington, they now play 3 games in a row versus bad teams

Houston let us down last week and killed all of our teaser bets. There are no excuses anymore for the Texans. They had the 3rd ranked offense in the league last year, have been stockpiling young talented defensive players
