Houston Texans at Minnesota Vikings (-3.5), Total 37.5 |

Houston is one of three teams with a perfect 3-0 ATS mark and was visually impressive in a 30-7 road win over the San Francisco 49ers as 5.5-point favorites. The Texans out-gained the 49ers by an incredible 312 yards in the contest.
Only one real problem arose in the contest, as running back Arian Foster left the game with an injury. Last year’s NFL rushing champion seems to be fine in practice this week and will be ready for the regular-season opener against Indianapolis.
“Everything’s positive,” said Texans head coach Gary Kubiak. “It’s the same thing we dealt with at the start of camp.”
Minnesota’s move to start rookie quarterback Christian Ponder may have some fans saying the team is throwing in the towel in the preseason finale, but head coach Leslie Frazier is still evaluation who is backup will be behind veteran Donovan McNabb.
“It’s a big game for not only our quarterbacks, but for a lot of guys trying to make the roster,” Frazier stated.
Vikings running back Adrian Peterson seems ready to roll after gaining 81 yards on 14 carries in the team’s 23-17 loss to the Cowboys last week.
Bettors will find that the Texans are 13-13 ATS as a preseason underdog, while the Vikings step in with a 2-0 ATS mark as a home favorite of 3.5 to 7 points during exhibition play.
