Alabama vs San Jose State Pick |
Bet this game at our Number 1 rated book, 2BetDsi
Returning eight offensive starters from last year’s national championship team is good news for Alabama, and terrible news for San Jose State. The Spartans finished 2009 with a disappointing 2-10 record, but return 15 starters. Alabama’s running back duo of Heisman Trophy winner Mark Ingram and back up Trent Richardson will dominate this game.
Quarterback Greg McElroy is back as a senior, coming off an effective 17 touchdown, four interception season in 2009. He wasn’t relied upon heavily to carry the load with Ingram shouldering most of the team’s offense, but a senior McElroy throwing to a 6-4 Julio Jones has the possibility of being one of the nation’s best quarterback to wide receiver connections. In Tuscaloosa, this game should not be competitive. Look for Bama to cover the 39 point spread.
