The opening Sunday night game is a great one. The Bears are for real. Usually what happens in the preseason really doesn’t matter, but in this case Cutler looked very comfortable with his new team. For years, the missing piece for Chicago has been at quarterback. There is a question at wide receiver, but there is some young talent there. The Packers are flying under the radar. Aaron Rodgers is very good. The defense is much improved, and the running game is good. This Green Bay team could be better than the one that went to the title game 2 years ago. Logic dictates taking the Bears and 3.5 here, but we don’t feel strongly about it, just place a small bet, to make your popcorn taste better.
