We knew Drew Brees and the Saints would be a team to reckon with this year, but they are scoring touchdowns like the Patriots of 2007. The Bills needed to beat the Bucs last week and they did. Buffalo has the secondary to slow down the Saints passing game. The total here is 53, so they expect this to be a shootout, and it might, there are times that when you expect a high scoring affair and then it becomes a defensive struggle. This is what we call “a popcorn game”, just enjoy it but don’t bet on it, unless you like to gamble.
We like to invest our money in smart plays, not just closing our eyes and picking. The final score here could be 45-38 New Orleans, or 16-13 Bills, depending on whether or not the Bills cornerbacks can cover the Saint receivers, and if they can pressure Drew Brees. If they don’t the Bills will throw the ball and there will be a lot of points. Otherwise the Bills will milk the clock and try to keep the Saint offense of the field.
