Denver has won back-to-back games, but failed to cover as six-point home favorites in a 23-20 home win over the Seattle Seahawks.  The Broncos will now finish out the exhibition season on the road, as they dropped a 24-23 contest in Dallas as 2.5-point underdogs in Week 1.

Broncos first-year head coach John Fox decided that Kyle Orton will be the starting quarterback of the team and the running game seems to be picking up to be a nice compliment to the passing attack this year.

The team ran for 148 total rushing yards in last week’s win over the Seahawks.  Running back Knowshon Moreno is excited for what’s ahead.  “We try to stay balanced with the run and pass and at the same time we have some good receivers,” he commented.  “If we stay balanced we can be successful.”

Arizona has scored 75 points in three preseason games and has only one win to show for it.  The Cardinals have out-gained all three opponents by a combined 73 yards, but they have fallen in defeat in consecutive weeks to the San Diego Chargers (34-31) and Green Bay Packers (28-20).

Defensively, the main concern continues to be lack of a pass rush and playing the run, as the unit finished 29th and 30th respectively in those categories a season ago.

Bettors will likely back the Broncos due to their 22-10 ATS mark versus NFC West opponents, while the Cardinals are 0-2 ATS after two or more consecutive losses in preseason action.
