The breakdown: One of the last teams to get in the field, Florida will have to prove to those on the wrong side of the bubble why it was included in the field of 65. Meanwhile, BYU, favored by 4.5 points, will want to show the country why it was snubbed with a seven seed despite finishing the season 29-5.

Why BYU will win: BYU scores on nearly every possession, averaging 1.134 points per possession, good for fifth best in the country. The Cougars will need a sharp shooting night from guard Jimmer Fredette, who leads the team with 21.7 points per game, to get past a stumbling Florida team.

Why Florida will win: Though they have a much different view coming into this game, Florida is a team with a chip on its shoulder, having lost several close games this season. It lost by two against Georgia, one at Tennessee, and three against Richmond this season. If those games went the other way, Florida could have been a five or six seed. This game will be Florida’s opportunity to finish a game strong.

Verdict: Florida by two.
