California -6.5 at Washington
As expected, Washington snapped their four game losing streak with a triumphant 30-0 shut out over in state foe Washington State last week. The win was good for the Huskies’ fourth of the year, and four more than their horrendous 0-12 campaign in 2008.
California has been somewhat unpredictable this year, going 8-3 with lopsided wins over Maryland, Minnesota, UCLA and Washington State but puzzlingly poor performances against Oregon, Southern Cal and Oregon State. Additionally, their last three wins have come by 2, 6 and 8 points, meaning a win could be a nail biter for the Golden Bears.
Both teams performed well against the spread and hit more OVERS than UNDERS, but this game should be another win for California. Look for the Golden Bears to win this by a touchdown – you will sweat it out – so if you are daring, take Cal and the points. There are sexier options out there, though.
