Jacksonville played their hearts out at the Colts last week in Indianapolis, as we said they would, but although they covered, they came up a little short. Arizona lost to the 49ers last week, and we hit on both the sides and the total on that game. The Cardinals couldn’t move the ball like they usually do vs. a stiff 49ers defense. Both these teams are very good, however one of the teams is overrated and one is underated.
The Cardinals didn’t belong in the Super bowl last year, the Giants did. Jacksonville was our preseason pick to win the AFC last year, until numerous injuries to the offensive line made it impossible to find holes for Maurice Jones-Drew to run the ball. This is a tough game to call. We see Jacksonville getting their first win of the year, and the Cardinals dropping to 0-2. The extra half point scares us however as the Jaguars never ever win a game easily. We are going to take the under here (43), as 17-13 Jacksonville sounds about right.
