Lines, Odds, Picks and Preview

Traditionally on the second weekend of the playoffs, the favorites win easy. In the last few years however this hasn't been always the case, as many wild card teams have gone on the road and won .We tend to look at the bigger picture and still are going to remember what has happened in the last 20 years, as opposed to the last few in making our picks here.
Arizona looked great in the first half last week as we said they would, but couldn’t play any defense in the second half and almost gave the game away. The Saints lost their last 3 meaningless games, after going 13-0 this year. We thought Arizona might go back to the Super bowl this year but that was predicated on Philly beating Dallas, and making them play Minnesota this week.
This is a different story. We really do like the Cardinals and feel that they have all the weapons to go all the way, but this is a very bad spot for them. New Orleans proved early this year, that when they want to play well they are the best team in football. There will be a lot of action on Arizona this week, and they will have their moments , but we are going to remember past history not recent history and take the rested home favorite here.
Take New Orleans and lay the 7 points here, as they should pull away at the end.
