Kansas City Chiefs at Green Bay Packers (-3), Total 38 |

Kansas City’s against-the-spread futility continues after a 14-10 home loss to the St. Louis Rams last week as one-point underdogs. The Chiefs have now failed to cover the number in 11-straight preseason games under head coach Todd Haley.
Fans are gravely concerned due to the first-team offense failing to score a touchdown in the first three weeks, something that has Haley’s attention.
“I’ve got a lot of belief in these guys and we’ll get something done,” he commented. “But there’s a sense of urgency because Sept. 11 is coming up on us very quickly.”
Last year’s No. 1 rushing offense has produced little in 17 of its 35 carries going for two yards or less.
Green Bay is gearing up to defend its championship season and picked up a come-from-behind 24-21 road victory over the Indianapolis Colts last week. The Packers are 2-1 SU in the preseason, but have dropped two of three versus the line.
This will be the second straight season that these two clubs will face off in the preseason finale, as the Chiefs came away with a 17-13 win at Arrowhead Stadium. In all, Kansas City holds a 6-5-1 advantage in such contests.
Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers seems ready for an MVP-type season, hitting on 19-of-23 passes for 204 yards in last week’s win.
Bettors seemingly have only one way to go with the Chiefs 26-49 ATS mark in preseason play, while the Packers are 4-1 ATS when playing at Lambeau Field before the regular season.
