It’s a real shame that Matt Cassell got hurt in the preseason. He is a really good quarterback that was certainly going to help the Kansas City Chiefs. What people don’t realize though is that their backups are pretty good as well. Tyler Thigpen and Brady Croyle are not chopped liver, so the drop off will be felt, but not too much.
As much as we love to pick against the Ravens, and always thought that they were overrated, we are finally coming to realize that they are a very good team. Joe Flacco gives them stability at quarterback. Add him to a strong running game, good coaching, and a game changing defense, the Ravens are a team to take very seriously. If you followed Frankie’s picks in the past, you know he would rather receive than to give, so we are not going lay 11 here (betting line at time of writing), nor are we gonna take a small number on the Chiefs. 23-13 Baltimore sounds about right.
