Cincinnati had one of its best years ever last season, culminating with a 12-1 record and a Sugar Bowl berth. Though the Bearcats return 13 starters, the biggest missing name from last year’s stat lines is quarterback Tony Pike, who is now in the NFL.
The Bearcats still return some talent, including quarterback Zach Collaros, who performed well in Pike’s absence. Meanwhile, Fresno State comes back off an 8-5 season, and returns 15 starters. Expect the Bulldogs to give Cincinnati a bit of trouble, and cover the one point spread.
