Dallas Cowboys at Miami Dolphins (-3.5), Total 36.5 |

Dallas has begun the Jason Garrett-Tony Romo era with two wins during the preseason, but have tallied a 1-2 ATS mark in the process. Interestingly enough, all three of the Cowboys preseason games before this one started with a spread within a field goal.
Much of the concern in camp is squarely focused on an offensive line that will be one of the youngest in the league, as its media age has gone from 30.4 in 2010 to just 25.2 with its current depth chart.
Other worries remain on the defensive end under first-year coordinator Rob Ryan, as the starters have allowed 30 points in nine possessions. It’s not exactly a puzzling statistic when considering 10 of 11 starters returned from an awful unit a year ago.
Miami failed to open the preseason with three-straight wins, dropping a 17-13 contest to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week. The Dolphins missed keeping in tact a perfect ATS record by just a single point, failing to cover as a three-point underdog.
Chad Henne has answered the call for head coach Tony Sparano in regards to remaining as the team’s starting quarterback, connecting on 10 of 13 passes for 175 yards. He has played just over a game of action this preseason and has thrown for 369 total yards.
The Cowboys have failed to cover the number in five of their last six tries against AFC East opponents, while the Dolphins are 5-2 ATS versus NFC East teams.
