In another one of the most intriguing match ups of the first round, England should be a favorite over the United States and is likely to win, probably 2-1. Wayne Rooney is by far the best player on either team, and if the United States can stop him, this game might be close. Otherwise, Rooney will break out for at least one goal, as he is the second best player in the World Cup.
The United States has a history of scoring and giving up goals, and England should score a few, so look for the over of 2 or 2.5 goals.
