Lines, Odds, Pick and Preview

At the time of the writing of the column there was no line on this game due to the uncertain status of Falcon running back Michael Turner. The Giants needed a bye 2 weeks earlier, after the Arizona loss to regroup, but that wasn’t the case. They were wounded against New Orleans, then it got worse against Arizona and it snowballed. The Giants only practiced 1 day last week, as Tom Coughlin knew the best thing to do was get drunk, eat wings and forget about the 4 straight losses.
The Giants were taking winning for granted when they were 5-0. People were looking for things to worry about and one reporter even asked Brandon Jacobs if he was concerned that his back-up had more yards per carry than him. WHO CARES! They also tried to throw to ball too much. Just win the game! The Giants will be motivated and have their heads on straight, and win it comfortably this week.
