Boy did Carolina look bad last week. And boy did Atlanta look good last week. The Panthers got killed by Philly, and Atlanta was shutting out a good pretty good Miami team till a late garbage touchdown made the score a deceptive 19-7.
If you do the math here everything says take the Falcons and lay the 6 points, therefore we are doing the opposite and taking Carolina. I learned many years ago when I was a commodity trader, if you bet against the stupid money you win.
The line being at 6 tells us to bet the Falcons, don’t fall for it. The Panthers were embarrassed last week and will show up for this game. It’s a division game and they must have it. Atlanta will play well too, but after 30 years in this business we know better than to take the favorite here.
