(7) Oklahoma vs. (20) Florida State, 3:30 PM
After a disappointing opener performance against Utah State, fans in Norman, Oklahoma have started to worry that the Sooners are in a slump. Florida State fans are excited about head coach Jimbo Fisher’s first game leading the Seminoles, which was a 59-6 win over FCS Samford. Though Samford was unlikely to put up much of a fight, Florida State showed fans a glimpse of the exciting football they remember from the golden era in the 1990s.
Had it not been for running back DeMarco Murray, Oklahoma could have potentially lost to the Aggies. Murray carried the Sooners with 35 rushes for 218 yards and two touchdowns. Someone else will have to step up to help Murray with Oklahoma’s offense against a more athletic Florida State defense. Take the visiting Seminoles and the points.
