Florida vs Auburn Betting Prediction

Florida Gators at No. 24 Auburn Tigers

Florida will be on the road for the second straight week, looking to improve upon a dreadful 8-25-1 record when visiting Auburn.  The last time the Gators beat the Tigers inside Jordan-Hare Stadium was in 1999.

The Gators have dropped their last two games of the season against the No. 1 and No. 2 teams in the country, including a 41-11 loss against the LSU Tigers as 14-point road underdogs.  The team has been out-gained by a 384 margin in that span.

Offensively, the rushing game has been shut down the past two weeks, but the program has still rushed for 1,164 yards on 5.0 yards per carry this season.

sportsbook bettors will find that the Gators are 18-14 ATS over the last two-plus seasons, while the ‘over’ is 16-15 in those contests.

Auburn returns home after consecutive games on the road, holding an 42-38-2 advantage in the series.  Each of the last four games between these two have been decided in the final minute, with Auburn winning three of four.

Running back Michael Dyer has become a force for the team offensively, rushing for 100-plus yards in all three SEC games this season.  Auburn is 9-0 in games decided by four points or less under head coach Gene Chizik, including 5-0 in SEC play.

The team is definitely expected to improve over the second half of the schedule, as it was hit hard by graduation after last year’s national championship, while playing 26 freshman in the first six games this season.

Bettors will find that the Tigers are 18-14 ATS over the last two-plus seasons, while the ‘over’ is 17-12 in that span.
