This game scares me, not only as a Giant fan but as a bettor. This is a trap game for the Giants. After 2 huge wins against division rivals, Dallas and Washington, they now play 3 games in a row versus bad teams and might be a little flat.
We know Tom Coughlin, and he will tell the team not to overlook the Buccaneers, and the older guys won’t, but the Giants have many young players who contribute, especially on special teams. All it takes is a few missed tackles and this becomes a ballgame. Don’t get me wrong, Tampa Bay is not very good, but they are 0-2, desperate, and playing at home with their season on the line.
All things we like to see in a team that will cover. Therefore we are not betting this game as the final score probably will be 27-17 Giants, but with a fumble here and a missed tackle there, it could be 26-23. Way too risky.
