Hawaii is coming off its only bye week of the season and will look to push its winning streak to three games, coming off a 44-26 win over the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs as 4.5-point road underdogs.

Since suffering consecutive losses at Washington and UNLV, Hawaii has averaged 50 points and 503 yards of total offense in its last two victories.  Quarterback Bryant Moniz continues to be a big part of the team’s success, ranking ninth nationally in total offense.

In the series, Hawaii has won the last five games at Spartan Stadium, as the last four have been decided by seven points or less.

Bettors will find that the Rainbows are 20-11 ATS over the last two-plus seasons, while the total is evenly split at 15-15 Over/Under.

San Jose State had its two-game winning streak snapped by dropping a 29-16 contest to the BYU Cougars as 14.5-point road underdogs, but the team has still managed to tally a 4-2 ATS mark on the year.

A big reason for the Spartans turnaround this season is creating turnovers, as San Jose State has caused opponents to turn the ball over 13 times.  The Spartans rank 22nd nationally with six fumble recoveries and seven interceptions.

Through six games, the team has been outscored in every quarter, but has allowed just 10 fourth-quarter points in the last four games.

The college football betting odds have placed the Spartans as home underdogs in this contest, which fits nicely with the team’s 4-1 ATS mark when getting points this year, while the ‘under’ is 3-2 in those betting prediction contests.
