The Colts really surprised us by winning out at the end of the year. This is a rematch of last year’s AFC title game. If you remember correctly the Jets were in it for most of the game. This is a much better Jet team and a much worse Colt team. The Colts are starting to get some of their players back, most importantly Joseph Aadii. When he went down it badly hurt the Colt offense as well as my fantasy team.
I really don’t think we took the Jets all year, but are taking them in this spot. They are built to win in the playoffs, with defense and a running game. As long as Mark Sanchez doesn’t turn the ball over, the Jets win. Peyton Manning has been making very uncharacteristic mistakes and we feel that the Jets might pick him off once or twice.
Look for the same game we saw in last year’s playoffs except that Indianapolis won’t pull away at the end, it will be the Jet defense that wins this game. This is going to be a great match up that’s why it got the primetime slot. I really don’t like anything about the Jets as a Giant fan but the smart money goes on Jets +2.5, and business is business.
