NFL football betting Line and Odds: Saints -7, Total 45 1/2
These 2 teams are playing some of the best football in the NFL right now. We knew the Saints were one of the best teams in the league before the season, but the Jets have surprised us. We hate rookie coaches and rookie quarterbacks, but we always liked Mark Sanchez and thought he was going to be a better quarterback than Matt Stafford. What we failed to realize however was that Rex Ryan (son of Buddy Ryan) would be such a great coach.
We should have known better, as his dad for years, was one of the top motivators in the league and his teams ALWAYS played hard week in and week out. The Jets come into this game with wins over New England, Tennessee and Houston, (are you kidding me), this tells me after all these years of being overrated, it’s time to take them seriously.
The Saints are also 3-0 and we do take them very seriously. They have a shot to be in the Superbowl. They found a way to win in Buffalo last week when they weren’t playing particularly well. That is the sign of a champion. This is going to be a great game with either team having a chance to win, and it comes down to the old adage, "when in doubt, take the points”, and we will. Go with the Jets +7.
