East Carolina must appreciate another opportunity to win a Liberty Bowl. After leading 16-3 in last year’s Liberty Bowl, the Pirates lost 25-19 to Kentucky.
Arkansas is 7-5 under second year head coach Bobby Petrino, who has recruited well and seen early success with the Razorbacks after a brief stint in the NFL as the coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
ECU will have no answer for Arkansas quarterback Ryan Mallet, who threw for 285 yards per game and 29 touchdowns to 7 interceptions this year. Look for Arkansas’ passing game to pick apart the East Carolina secondary. Take Arkansas and the points.
