The Texas Bowl may be one of the more interesting bowl games to watch this season, as it pits one of the nation’s top passing offenses (Missouri) against one of the nation’s top rushing offenses (Navy). Yet somehow, these two teams have not met in nearly 50 years. Many expected Missouri to have a down year with the departure of its three biggest offensive weapons: Chase Daniel, Chase Coffman and Jeremy Maclin. But the Tigers have shown their resilience, winning their last three games down the stretch after a tough middle of the season that included all four of Missouri’s losses.
Navy is looking for its first 10 win season since 2004, and can clinch that with a win over the Tigers. Look for Missouri to win this game by 7 to 10 points. Take the Tigers and the points.
