Your eyes are not deceiving you, and this is not December 2006, when these teams met in the Music City Bowl last time. Instead, it is the same match up, but with all new players, although Kentucky is trying to repeat their 28-20 win from the ’06 game.
Despite finishing No. 1 in the ACC Atlantic this season and a runner up in the ACC Championship Game, the Tigers received the No. 6 bid in the conference, a ticket to Nashville. Clemson features one of the game’s most dynamic players in running back C.J. Spiller, who is averaging 88 yards rushing per game and has found the end zone 20 times this season through running, receiving and special teams.
Kentucky has one of the nation’s worst rush defenses, so expect Spiller to go off on a high note with 150 plus yards on the ground and a pair of scores. Take Clemson and the points.
