(8) Nebraska vs. Idaho, 12:30 PM
Nebraska’s 49-10 win over Western Kentucky showed America almost nothing to take away from the game. Though the Cornhuskers ran for six touchdowns among four players and nearly doubled the Hilltoppers in offensive yardage, the supposedly excellent defense struggled to contain Western Kentucky’s running game, allowing Bobby Rainey to rush 30 times for 155 yards and a touchdown.
That is a concern for bigger, better and faster opponents, but Idaho is barely an upgrade over Western Kentucky in any aspect of the game. Even though Idaho won 45-0 over North Dakota in Week 1, the Fighting Sioux are a mediocre FCS team and were not a test for Idaho. At home for the second time in as many weeks, Nebraska should win this comfortably. Take the Cornhuskers and the points.
