Nebraska returns 17 starters, but most noticeably missing is defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh, who was the second overall pick in this year’s NFL Draft. The Cornhuskers won’t worry much about a Western Kentucky team that was 0-12 last year – even if it does return nine starters on each side of the ball – simply because Nebraska’s second string, or even third string, could beat the Hilltoppers fairly easily.
This game isn’t worth watching too much beyond what Nebraska’s defensive line looks like without Suh, although we won’t really see it tested for a few more weeks. Make a big play on Nebraska -34.5.
