North Texas vs Kansas Jayhawks betting

The breakdown: The Big 12 runner up, Kansas State will take on North Texas, the automatic qualifier out of the Sun Belt Conference. The Wildcats are favored by 16 points in the first round showdown.
Why Kansas State will win: Simply put, two seeds almost never lose to 15 seeds, and that should be the case when Kansas State takes on the Mean Green Eagles. North Texas hasn’t beaten a team like K-State all year, and the Wildcats are much too athletic for the Sun Belt champions.
Why North Texas will win: The Mean Green Eagles have been involved in a ton of close games this season. If they are somehow able to stick around with Kansas State for the first half, it is conceivable that North Texas will be able to eke out a close one, like they did against Louisiana Monroe and Troy in the Sun Belt Tournament, where they won by three both games.
Verdict: Kansas State by 21.
