Despite reaching its fifth consecutive BCS bowl game in 2009, last year’s 11-2 Ohio State team disappointed some who thought that it could have been a legitimate title contender. The Buckeyes return just about everybody on offense – 10 of 11 starters – including quarterback Terrelle Pryor, who could win the Heisman Trophy with the season that many expect him to have. He and senior running back Brandon Saine were the team’s top two rushers last season, and that should continue on this year with Pryor’s dual threat capabilities at an all time best.

Marshall returns seven starters on offense and another seven on defense, but the Thundering Herd finished fourth in Conference USA’s East division, and there is no reason to believe there should be an upset in Columbus on opening weekend. Expect Ohio State to cover the 28 point spread.
