No. 6 Oklahoma State Cowboys at No. 22 Texas Longhorns

Oklahoma State returns to the road for the next two games and has proven victorious in all five games this season.  The Cowboys ended a 12-game losing streak in this series, with last year’s 33-16 win over the Longhorns as four-point road favorites.

Bettors must respect the Cowboys away from Stillwater, coming in with the nation’s third-longest road winning streak, sitting just behind Virginia Tech and Oregon.

Over the last three games, the defense has forced 14 turnovers, highlighted by nine interceptions.  The team ranks sixth nationally with 17 turnovers forced through five games.

Offensively, Oklahoma State leads the nation in averaging 51.4 points per game, while picking up 29.6 first downs a contest.  The Cowboys are second nationally in total offense with 577.4 yards per game.

Don’t make your college football picks until realizing that the Cowboys are 17-6 ATS as a favorite and the ‘over’ is 13-11 in those contests.

Texas returns home after a crushing loss to the Oklahoma Sooners in the Red River Rivalry, but bettors should respect them in this contest, especially considering that head coach Mack Brown is a perfect 13-0 in games following that rivalry.

The Longhorns have tallied a 65-12 record in regular season games following their annual tussle with the Sooners since the 1998 campaign.

Brown will still rely on a quarterback tandem under center, as both David Ash and Case McCoy are expected to play.  The duo combined for four turnovers in last week’s defeat.

sportsbook bettors will find that the Longhorns are 1-5 ATS as an underdog and the total is 3-3 Over/Under in those games.
