What happens when two teams who have had over achieving seasons, one of which has high scoring shoot outs each week (Oregon) and the other who has low scoring battles (Oregon State) meets? Your guess is as good as mine. Fortunately, we can be sure that Oregon will win this game outright, as they won the match up last year 65-38. The Ducks appear to be the superior team, with wins over Arizona and Southern Cal, two teams who got the best of Oregon State.
The Beavers did, however, dispatch Stanford 38-28 earlier this season, and the Cardinal topped Oregon in a 51-42 shoot out a few weeks ago. These two teams alternate wins regularly, as the series stands at 56-46-10 over several decades. The Beavers hold a 5-4 advantage since 2000, but only one of those wins was in Eugene. Look for the Ducks to win this one, but avoid this game unless you plan to make a play on the money line.
