Lines, Odds and Preview
Another winning week last week, but not up to our usual excellent ways. We are going to start this week by talking about the 3 annual Thanksgiving Day games and then proceed to our weekly teaser. We wanted to include this game in our teaser, but because of Matt Stafford’s shoulder injury there was no line at the time of the writing of this column. Either way, we like the Lions here. They will probably go off as a double digit underdog and that should sufficient.
Traditionally the Lions play well at home in their annual Turkey Day game, but the last few years they haven’t covered basically because the teams were so bad. This Lions team is different and has been playing better football. Green Bay has also turned the corner and is making a play off push.
This is going to be a great game, believe it or not. Look for Detroit and Daunte Cullpepper to keep this one close. Take the Lions and the points here.
