These 2 teams played very surprising games last weeks for different reasons. The Jets shocked the Texans on the road 24-7, and the Patriots nearly lost to the Bills on Monday night. Brady looked very rusty, and New England should have lost that game. Rex Ryan thinks that the Jets will be in the Super bowl this year, but I’m sure every coach feels that way, this time of year.
We couldn’t bet on or against the Patriots last week because the spread was too high, yet we remember from 2 years ago that they can put up 55 points anytime they want. This year may be different. New England is still is a very good team, but may not be the 18-0 type of team that they were before. The Jets scare me. They have a great defensive system, and a really good but really green, quarterback. If Sanchez plays well, look out. We don’t feel that the Jets are going to the Super bowl this year, but they still should cover the 3 point spread. Bet the Jets +3.
