Purdue vs Siena Betting

Bookmark and Share

The breakdown: After starting off the season 14-0, Purdue inexplicably lost three games in a row, before picking itself up, dusting itself off and winning 10 more in a row. The injury of Robbie Hummel is Purdue’s biggest question mark, and Siena won the MAAC Tournament last week. Purdue is favored by four points.

Why Purdue will win: They are bigger, stronger and faster than Siena, and the Boilermakers will still survive without the services of star Robbie Hummel. E’Twaun Moore has the ability to score 25 or more points, and he will be counted on to lead Purdue past a pesky Siena squad.

Why Siena will win: The Saints will capitalize on Hummel’s injury and surprise a lot of people. Despite Purdue being favored, the Boilermakers have played poorly as of late, and Siena has won five in a row.

Pick: Siena by six.
