St. Louis has proven victorious in all three preseason games and picked up a 14-10 win over the Kansas City Chiefs last week.  The Rams are still far from perfect and offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels continues to tinker with his unit.

“We wanted to come out as a team and especially as an offense and set the tempo,” Rams running back Stephen Jackson stated.  He responded by gaining 50 yards on seven carries during the opening drive.

Second-year quarterback Sam Bradford out of Oklahoma continues to impress experts around the league and went 8-for-8 for 76 yards in leading the team to two touchdowns early.

Life on the road for Jacksonville has been downright miserable during the preseason and a return trip back home is needed.  The Jaguars failed to hold onto a sizeable lead in dropping a 35-32 road contest to the Buffalo Bills last week.

The Jaguars are also 0-3 ATS and face an opponent that is focused on finishing the preseason with an unblemished record.

Efforts to improve a defense that allowed a franchise record 419 points has failed to develop and fans may be bracing for another dismal year.

Bettors will be interested to find that the Rams are 5-1 ATS as preseason underdogs, while the Jaguars are 1-3 as home favorites of three points or less.

Watch the line closely, as it seems to be a trap for attracting St. Louis backers.
