We expected Baltimore to have a shot to win that game last week, but to totally dominate the Patriots the way they did, was a surprise. Baltimore looked like a team that is ready to make a serious run at the Super bowl. They run the ball extremely well, have a good quarterback and of course are very mean on the defensive side of the ball.
Indianapolis showed early in the year that they have a shot to go all the way also, then rested their players and got a little flat. You can’t win, if you rest players and lose, everyone gets mad at you, if you play them and they get hurt (like Wes Welker) everyone says why he was playing.
All that matters, however, is the way you play on the field on Sunday and the Colts will play well, but not great. This will be a great game that will go down to the wire, with the winner having a realistic shot to go all the way.
In a situation like this you must take the points in order to have a chance to win at the end. Another reason to take Baltimore is that the 6.5 point spread means that the odds makers want you to take the Colts, don’t fall for it, bet the Ravens +6.5 here.
