NFL football betting Line and Odds: Redskins 6 1/2, Total 38 1/2
The next 2 games that we are picking, we are going a little bit out on a limb. There are 2 home dogs that both played very well last week as huge underdogs. Both teams had opportunities to win outright but didn’t. The Rams play their first home game, under new coach Steve Spagnolo this week. We said last week that when he was with the Giants, his defense looked terrible for 2 weeks then he went into D.C. and beat the Redskins in week 3.
He was slightly ahead of schedule this time as he almost won the game outright as a 10 point dog. The defense played great however and Washington could not move the ball. The Lions did there usual 4th quarter “folderoo” as we said they would, after being up 10-0 vs. Minnesota.
The Packers are a good team, but when pressured Aaron Rogers can make mistakes and the Rams will be blitzing all game long. They have to win a game sometime (don’t they), why not this week against a poor Redskin offense. If the defense plays as well as they did last week versus the Vikings, and Stafford doesn’t makes mistakes, Detroit finally gets its first win in over a year. This week as we said, we are taking the money line on the 2 home dogs (probably +230 or better), to win the game outright. Look for Rams and Lions to have a chance to pull off upsets this week, and getting nearly 2 and half to 1 on your money is good value.
