Seattle was a slam dunk pick last week. You knew they were going to play hard at home last Sunday after playing so well against the Rams the week before. Chicago is laughing that they got the second seed thanks to the Eagle late swoon. The Giants should be sitting here in this spot.
That being said, however, this will not be the last game that the Bears play this year. Seattle is going to turn into a pumpkin this week and Chicago is just getting a really easy draw, beat a team with a losing record at home and make the NFC title game. The Bears have been preparing for this game for 2 weeks and will be ready to play. They will score on the Seattle defense but the Seahawks should be shut down by the Bears.
This game won’t be as exciting as the other games these weeks. How many times have you seen a wild card come into this week all jazzed up to play and then they get blown out. This game is going to be a yawner. Chicago should get off to an early lead and then build until Seattle is demoralized and finally gives up. We are looking at around a 27-10 score with maybe a late score by the Seahawks. Take Chicago here and lay the 10.
