Seattle Seahawks at San Diego Chargers (-4.5) - Total 36
San Diego tries to put a disappointing 2010 season behind them and is currently a 4.5-point favorite in hosting the Seattle Seahawks Thursday night in front of a nationally televised audience on ESPN.
The Chargers’ roster seems to be set with the signing of wide receiver Malcolm Floyd to a two-year contract Saturday, as he’ll be back on the practice field. Fellow receiver Vincent Jackson is not making noise this offseason, as he’s participated in camp since the beginning after being tendered for $11.9 million this year.
Seattle head coach Pete Carroll begins his second season at the helm in the Pacific northwest and will look to build upon a surprising playoff run of a year ago. The Seahawks were bounced out of the playoffs in the divisional round by Chicago, but not before surprising the New Orleans Saints with a 41-36 home win during the Wild Card round which hardly anyone predicted.
Carroll didn’t get his team cranked up during preseason play in his first season, coming away with a 0-3-1 ATS record.
