USC narrowly avoided its third loss of the season last week with a 14-9 win at Arizona State. It wasn’t pretty for the Trojans, as they punted eight times and accumulated nine penalties for 98 yards. With a win over Oregon, Stanford is now in the second leg of its four week trek against Top 25 teams, with games against No. 23 California and No. 19 Notre Dame on the horizon.
The Cardinal are 6-3 against the spread this year and Las Vegas continues to give USC more credit than it deserves, as the Trojans are now a paltry 2-7 against the spread. USC should win, but not by 11. Take Stanford and the points.
