The bloody Steelers had to choose last week to open up the offense, and shock the Chargers. You have to believe that they will come back to earth this week. The Lions have been playing pretty well as of late, and stayed with Chicago for 30 minutes. We still don’t know about the questionable status of Matt Stafford. 10.5 points is a lot to bet on the road against anybody.
If Pittsburgh goes back to running the ball, then they don’t cover here. If they let Big Ben, throw the ball, then the might be able to outscore the Lions. We think not. With a little luck here, and a fumble there, and then a sack over there, the Lions can cover the 10.5 points. We are taking Detroit +10.5 here.
