Friday, January 1 – Sugar Bowl – Florida -11 vs. Cincinnati
With emotions running high on both sides of the ball, one team (Florida) will benefit greatly. The other will suffer an embarrassing loss on New Year’s Day. Cincinnati is playing without former head coach Brian Kelly, who led the Bearcats to significant success in recent years, including a perfect 12-0 season.
Kelly left to fill the head coaching vacancy at Notre Dame, leaving the Bearcats with interim coach Jeff Quinn. The only problem? Quinn just took a job at Buffalo, leaving Cincinnati struggling to find another interim coach. With all of these distractions, it will give Florida ample opportunity to pick apart an inferior team.
Playing with heavy hearts due to the soon to be absence of Urban Meyer, the Gators will win this by 17 or more. Take Florida and the points.
