TCU’s 30-21 win over Oregon State does not entirely tell the story of the battle between those two teams. The Horned Frogs outplayed Oregon State in almost every aspect of the game, out gaining the Beavers 453 to 255 and holding them to 2.9 yards per rush.
The Tennessee Tech performance was less than inspiring, a 44-3 loss to Arkansas, though the Golden Eagles did manage to lead 3-0 after the first quarter. Eventually, Tennessee Tech’s defense succumbed to Arkansas, allowing 519 yards and a stellar performance from quarterback Ryan Mallett. TCU quarterback Andy Dalton should enjoy similar success. Look for TCU to cover the spread.
