Texas -13.5 at Nebraska
At first glance, a game pitting No. 2 Texas against a three loss Nebraska team looks like a blood bath waiting to happen. Not so fast. Even though Texas has not faltered once this year – winning every game but one by at least 10 points – they won’t be facing a cream puff defense like they have seen a handful of times this year against teams like Central Florida, UTEP and Wyoming.
In fact, Nebraska’s defense is its strong point, allowing just 13 defensive touchdowns through 12 games. The Cornhuskers are holding opponents to just 291 yards per game, including 102 yards on the ground. That has been a curse to anyone betting the OVER on Nebraska games this year, as the Huskers are 9-3 on hitting the UNDER. Despite Texas blowing teams out left and right, they won’t crush Nebraska due to the Huskers’ tough defense. Look for Nebraska to hang in there to the tune of a 10 point game.
Take Nebraska and the points, and parlay it with the UNDER for a nice pay day on Saturday.
